Balanced, well-contoured cheeks bring natural harmony and youthful definition to the face. As volume diminishes with age, the midface can appear flat or tired — cheek augmentation restores fullness and lift for a refreshed, balanced appearance

What Can Cheek Augmentation Do for Me?
Malarplasty is the aesthetic surgery practice medical term used to describe the augmentation or general reshaping of the cheeks. Defined facial features, visible contours and natural angles that are proportionate all create structural balance in your face and a more attractive appearance. Weak cheeks can make your face appear gaunt and can create an aged appearance to the under eye area.
Cheek augmentation can restore the youthful fullness to your cheeks that has been lost through the aging process, or can create the appearance of strong cheek bones if you never had them.
Am I an Ideal Candidate for Cheek Augmentation?
As with any elective surgical procedure, realistic expectations and good health are prerequisites. Men and women are both candidates for a cheek augmentation procedure.

Madison Cheek Augmentation Surgery
In the operation, the implant is inserted in a pocket created in the tissue. It is placed on or below the cheek bone through an incision inside the mouth. Dissolvable sutures are used, that dissolve on their own within a week or two. Since the incision is done from the inside of the mouth, there is no visible incision line. The procedure takes between 30 and 60 minutes, but depending on the extent of the procedure and if you are having more than one procedure, it can take longer.
Cheek augmentation is done as an out-patient surgery with “twilight” anesthesia in our private surgery center. The implants that are used are a solid silicone material, which have been contoured exactly to match your facial anatomy.
